General Job Description
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership experience in Building Information Modeling / Virtual Design & Construction departments, preferably in the construction or engineering sectors.

Familiarity with high-tech tech manufacturing process piping systems is a plus, though this role will oversee all market sectors including commercial, healthcare, and mission critical.

In addition to technical knowledge, the successful candidate will be skilled in leading teams, building out standardized procedures, and working with senior management on strategic growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all BIM/VDC efforts across projects in Phoenix, AZ

  • Provide strategy and high-level growth planning in partnership with senior management

  • Identify opportunities to improve software utilization, process and documentation, & team structure to advance the department

Qualifications

  • 8+ years' of experience with virtual design in a construction environment in a management role

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Familiarity with Autodesk drafting products such as Plant3D, Cadworx, AutoPlant
